Enjoyable experience of Western Art
The Museum of Western Art的点评
点评：The Museum of Western Art is on the outskirts of Kerrvile, a short drive from the centre. Plenty of on-site parking. Small entrance fee.
Air-conditioned comfort, but not cold. Small shop with replica art and souvenirs.
The building is art in itself with heavy wood and limestone rock. Museum is small but perfectly formed. Large bronze statues in the grounds set the tone for the excellent art of different mediums to come. The exhibit to show life on a settlers' wagon journey was well done and will appeal to children in particular. Large barbed wire collection was more interesting than one would expect. Beautiful western saddles complemented the sculptures and paintings.
A volunteer talked us through the history of the museum and some art pieces which added positively to the visit. We took our time to wander through the halls for a couple of hours.
