点评：The trip started off with us renting a scooter (can range from 75k-150k idr) from Labuan Bajo city. We left LB city at about 10.15am.It takes about 30-40minutes to get to the jetty. Google search rangko cave in googlemap but towards the end follow a board with sign to Rangko Cave by turning left. There will be someone to guide you back to the jetty to pay for the boat if you miss it. Per boat they charge 500k idr, doesn't matter how big or small your group is. The range can be as little as 300k idr if you come with a tour guide/taxi that brought you there. From jetty to the cave takes around 20minutes. The boat guy will wait there until you came out, allowing you around 1 hour 40minutes to play in the cave. It was just 5minutes hikes from cave jetty to the cave. And you will have to pay 50k idr per pax for the entrance as well.
By the time we leave the cave is around 1.30pm. The cave has got pretty dark by the time we reached around 11.30am. Try to get there earlier in the morning.
Bring enough drinking water, snacks maybe. The cave is quite small, water is chilly but decent enough to be swimming in bikinis. Once you got there it can be quite humid and hot, so bring along insect repellent. And maybe some water to rinse off the saltwater after swim. They do have facilities to change but it is not maintained and without water. Steps going down the cave is slippery, so be very cautious.
Probably it's once in a lifetime visit, but I glad I made the trip as it was my first time doing cave swimming. My 2cents, it doesn't worth it if you are not a water person.
