点评：We stopped at Ho‘okipa Beach Park while driving the Road to Hana, and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable moments of the entire trip.
As soon as we walked down toward the shoreline, we saw sea turtles resting right there on the beach — peaceful, majestic, and completely unfazed by the visitors watching from a respectful distance.
Seeing them so close in their natural environment was truly breathtaking. They’re amazing creatures, and it felt like a real privilege to witness them like this.
It’s the kind of experience that stays with you long after you’ve left.
Ho‘okipa is an easy stop, and even though we only paused briefly, it became one of the highlights of the day.
If you’re travelling the Road to Hana, it’s absolutely worth pulling over to take in this beautiful and unforgettable sight.
