点评:We were looking forward to visiting Rizman Winery, but the experience was a major disappointment.
First, I tried calling both the landline and mobile number to make a reservation – no answer on either. That already raised a question mark. Still, with the official working hours listed until 21:00, we decided to stop by since we were nearby.
We arrived at around 20:00. No greeting, no smile, not even eye contact from the staff. Nobody offered us a table. Only after we asked did they tell us to wait, and we stood there for about 10 minutes while they cleaned one.
Then I overheard the girl behind the bar say, “Who comes to a restaurant at half past eight?!!” – an incredibly rude and unprofessional comment, especially in front of guests.
We each had a glass of Pošip. It was fine, but far from memorable. The view is truly beautiful, but unfortunately the atmosphere was ruined by the feeling that we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests.
We left at around 21:00. I even apologized to the staff for coming “so late” – though, in reality, it was well within working hours. The response was indifferent.
For a place that promotes itself as a premium winery and a destination worth visiting, this level of service is unacceptable. In hospitality, attitude is everything – and here, it was simply unwelcoming. No matter how good the view is, we have no desire to return.
