Captain Reef for the win!
Silver Springs State Park的点评
点评：While visiting family in The Villages we voted on taking the Glass Bottom Boat Tour and we were NOT disappointed. One person in our party has difficulty walking, so we called in advance to get an idea of what to expect and the person on the phone was wonderfully helpful. They do have wheelchairs near the archway entrance, availble on a first come, first serve basis for those with walking difficulties. That being said, the walk was easy and we were all able to walk to where the boat launch is.
We took the 930am 90 minute Ecotour with Captain Reef who was an excellent captain and kept us laughing with his 'dad jokes', while also educating us about the Silver Springs and all the surrounding habitats. We rode on the open air boat and it was a really beautiful day, with lower heat and humidity, so it really made for a lovely morning.
We are hoping to get back there again the next time we are in Florida to maybe try the kayaking...but those alligators might stop me!
Highly recommend this activity if you are in the area.
