Fun and challenging hike, but take precautions
Champlain Mountain & Beehive Loop Trail的点评
点评：The Beehive Trail is a very fun and somewhat challenging hike with great views. My brother and I hiked it a little after lunch and did not have much in the way of traffic on the trail, although we were very early in Acadia’s season which could explain it.
If you’re not in great shape or used to rock scrambling and heights, this would be strenuous. Skip the straight up trail and instead go up the other side if you still want to get to the top (although that is also a bit steep in some areas). For those who do want to go up it, I’d recommend going up the “famous” way and down the other end, as going down the ladders and such would be much more dangerous than going up. If it’s been raining recently or is foggy or very windy, try again another day.
