Pleasant staff , quiet but fix the coffee situation

点评：Arrived at front desk upstairs not much of a que.. the lady said it’s a 30 minute wait (I had a reservation but she never asked me this ) so I assumed you just had a time window pre booked. I had to say I had a reservation and she then let me in right away.
Quick to be seated at my own little table. Staff very pleasant, breakfast was standard for a full English with plenty of fruit options , yogurt ,cereals etc varied choice.
My only complaint is that the coffee machine was broken , they had filter coffee pots there but when I asked they said they wasn’t allowed to use them. Instead the only substitute was awful instant coffee. The main reason I booked the lounge was to not spent £5-£10 in the main area on Costa coffee and sit in quiet. But other than that no complaints really. Although I did see previous reviews the machine was broken over a week before. For such a busy area being the only one here I’d expect it to be fixed faster or replaced.
Seen other reviews saying they was turned up 1-2 hours before their flight at peak times .. without a reservation .. and complaining they had to wait 30 mins or so to get in and then only had 20 mins before they had to fly etc. that’s on you and wouldn’t say it reflects the lounge itself. Or others saying they were drip fed alcohol .. seen plenty of people going up for pints numerous times nobody was drip fed. Although it’s not really a place to get drunk at 6am before a flight.
