点评:We had a really nice camping trip here with the family. The Stephen's Falls trail is a nice, short trip to a neat waterfall (also make sure to check out the spring house) and you can explore a bit at the base and behind the rocks. My kids enjoyed 'parkouring' among the rocks and sticks. There is a longer Lost Canyon trail (about 3 miles) that is also a very nice walk through the canyon and woods.
We also did the Pine Cliff trail the next day, and that trail does have some steep climbs and nice scenery. However, the view of the lake isn't as striking as it's mostly obscured by trees, although you do end up hiking along the shore. Unfortunately the last bit of the trail (through the prairie) is completely over grown and full of buzzing insects and itchy plants.
The park is very large, and the trails can be quite long - there are some other interesting trails to try out but that take a few miles to even get to, so we couldn't do it all in one day. There are also two lakes, so bring swimsuits. Our campsite in Cox Hollow was also nice and right near a playground as well as a full toilet/shower facility (although I wish they would turn the outdoor light off at night).
