麦克亨利堡的点评
点评：Our family loves visiting National Park sites and this was our kids first time in the state of Maryland so we chose to visit Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. It is right off interstate 95 after you emerge from the Fort McHenry tunnel so it is easy to find. There is plenty of free parking and there is a modern visitor center with a gift shop and educational displays. This is also where adults (16 and over) pay the park fee of $15 but it only applies if you enter the historic fort area.
The grounds are very scenic as you get great views of the Baltimore harbor. You can also see the Francis Scott Key bridge that collapsed off in the distance. There are multiple buildings open in the fort area and some have displays that give more context to the site. We only spent an hour here but it was a great stop and something we would recommend to anyone visiting the Baltimore area.
