Bold Coast Charter Company的点评
点评：This is a really well organized and professionally run experience. Bold Coast did a great job communicating and providing detail about when we would depart. It's weather dependent, which is no small thing in Maine. Fortunately tides gave us a 9 AM departure and smooth seas over. The boat is clean and well kept, with a boat toilet available for use (immaculate). One hour ride over, and we hopped into the skiff for a short ride to the Island. The crew carefully guides you along approved walkways to your blind (which is about 4-5 people in each). You rotate to various windows in the blind and can get hundreds of amazing photos of not only puffins (which let's be honest are the STAR) but other cool birds such as razorbills, bridled and regular murres, arctic terns, and on the day we were there some Northern Gannets which are gorgeous. We got lucky and spotted one puffling (baby puffin) in a burrow as well. The crew were safety conscious, professional, and kind - taking time to answer all questions and looking for cool things to point out - we had a large group of seals playing near our boat for quite a while as wel departed. Tours are small and sell out - so you need to be ON IT when they go on sale. So glad we did this!
