点评：Enjoyable kayaking experience on Lady Bird Lake and the Colorado River in downtown Austin. Great views of the Austin skyline from the water and you are surrounded by so much nature yet are in an urban setting. I rented my kayak from Lady Bird Lake Rentals near the Holiday Inn south of the Rainey Street Historic District. The cost was either $40 for 2 hours or $50 all day (until sunset) for a single kayak. I chose the latter and spent almost 3 hours kayaking from the rental shop up to the entrance to Barton Creek and then back passing underneath the Congress Avenue Bridge. It was a pretty windy day making the paddling difficult on my return so be aware of the conditions. This is most definitely a relaxing and worthwhile way to spend the afternoon in Austin plus you get a pretty good workout in.
