Terrible food, weak drinks, but OK performances

点评：This was recommended by our concierge at the Halekulani as the best luau. However, we feel that's incredibly incorrect. The food was abysmal -- the "pork" was two pieces of FAT wrapped in stinky greens. The steak was so tough it was hard to cut, the poke appetizer was tasteless compared to the amazing fresh poke we had elsewhere on the island. And for the price of "premium" seating we were truly disappointed. The drinks were weak and they were stingy -- we asked for a manhattan and was told it would require two drink tickets instead of one, despite their menu flaunting a range of cocktails. The show was nice and the performers were good, but for at least half of the show the music and singing is just recorded songs, not live. Beware, there are ants on the grass you're sitting on. Eat before if you're really keen to go to the show, because the food was worse than cafeteria food.
