Plan a day at a great beach!
Rockport Beach的点评
点评：The cleanest beach that I have ever visited! Great umbrella coverage but get there early to claim them or go later in the day when the early wave of visitors is leaving.
Beach is dredged daily and little to no sea grass.
There might be jellyfish but the kind without tentacles that do not sting.
Perfect for families with young children. You can walk way out on the sand bar in the water. Calm waves and clear water.
Entry is $10 a day or $40 for the season. Plenty of parking and picnic tables.
No dogs or sea craft rentals or glass.
Big pavilion with showers and rest rooms plus many porta pots available.
We stayed 2-3 hours but you can stay all day with sun coverage and supplies.
Make sure to use lots of sunscreen though because the sand is white and very reflective - you can burn easily without realizing it especially since the breeze is quite cool.
Friendly booth worker that collected fee.
