The Lookout Mountain Incline Railway的点评
点评：We stopped at the Incline Railway early in the day on a Saturday in October. When we arrived it was not crowded, however, by the time we left there were many more people. I would recommend you plan on an early incline ride for lesser crowds.
We boarded the incline at the St. Elmo station where there is plenty of parking. Entering the incline car was a bit unusual and felt a bit like walking in a fun house. Due to the steep grade of the tracks the cars rest at an angle. After riding the incline to the top of Lookout Mountain this makes sense. At the top the flooring is level and you can feel the climb as you exit the car. At the top station you have the opportunity to take in the view and see the workings of the incline. The mechanics room has a large viewing window where you can watch the machinery.
It was an interesting ride and worth the time to explore
