I had an issue with my previous pair of shorts, which I had not seen on any other pair I owned. The colour was not colorfast and had started to show areas of weaker colour after only five or six wearings, as we don't have a year-round shorts season, being from Canada. The staff in the store had never seen this happen before, either. The staff spoke to the management and were told they would not assist in any other manner, except by offering a 10% discount on my next pair.
Firstly, we pay a premium price for their products and expect premium quality. Anything less requires premium product support. This store did not do that. Secondly, I was told I should have returned them sooner. As I mentioned earlier, I'm from Canada, and returning the shorts earlier presents obvious challenges; moreover, I only noticed the flaw this spring while preparing for this trip to Bermuda.
Regarding the 10% discount, please don't assume I would consider throwing good money after bad, and please don't assume that 10% resolves the issue. It does not solve anything.
Does Tabs support their quality? For the price, you would be better off considering this option.
