点评：We left the boat at Whittier AK and climbed aboard the McKinley Explorer Train for our 10.5-hour trip to Denali NP. It was a long day but the views from the glass topped carriage was worth the trip. The Railroad Golden Ale 5% from Bearpaw Brewing Co. was a good way also to pass the trip and good value at $9. There was a full bar available, and Theresa earnt her tips for sure. The car guide, Aspen, tried her best to entertain & educate and had a hard job hosting for that length of time. There was little wildlife to spot, but the anticipation made it exciting at times. The dining car was extremely cramped for a party of 4 to a table, elbows in required, and the seats not conducive to a long, languid lunch. But we struck up a friendship with a couple from Wisconsin which lasted the next 5 days! The actual train seats were comfortable as they needed to be, but I made many trips to the outdoor platform for fresh air and a different perspective. Not too sure if I would repeat the train trip? But it was different and definitely beats the Bus!
