点评：We brought a friend who struggles to walk - the municipal car park is convenient for those who are mobile!
I enquired at the desk & was told there was no On Site parking as it was for staff & volunteers- disappointed I started to walk back to the car park to re think our activity - & noticed a gate & track - where all these cars were parked - so I went back to Ticket Office & queued again & asked if it would be possible to bring the car up & drop my friend off -‘ of course I will open the gate for you now & gave m e directions to access it! I was disappointed that this option was not given to me when I originally asked!
It worked fine - we were able to enjoy the gardens - with lots of seats on different areas - creating difference atmospheres in the areas - with Helmsley Castle as a background it was beautiful. The gardens are very well kept .
The cafe was pleasant but felt the food although nicely presented was over priced .
