点评:This is a great location to visit. We were able to walk around the entire prison grounds; we also took a little "treasure" map walk around and received a "key" to the prison for surviving the location and answering the questions. I would highly suggest good walking shoes, no open toed shoes or sandals, a hat for sure and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. When we were there, it was 115 degrees!
There is a little film you can watch in the museum to learn more about the history of the prison. Take a few extra minutes to watch the film.
So much history here, but the saddest part for me, was the graveyard. All the souls that were lost at the prison were buried there and most, if not all, headstones are gone.
Bring your camera or cell phone. Maybe you may catch spirit orbs or "fog" coming from the cells. The history of the prison itself is worth the visit, but walking the grounds to see where the Mormon Leaders were held (for practicing multiply marriages, which was illegal in Arizona), or maybe even Ms. Pearl Hart aka the Bandit Queen was held, is worth the trip!
