Excellent way to travel from Cusco to Puno

点评：We took the Titicaca train from Cusco to Puno.
It was an amazing journey and the 10.5 hours passed by quite quickly.
The service was excellent. The staff were all good and our waiter/server was excellent. He was entertaining and informative and spoke excellent English.
The dance shows were entertaining despite the limited space and the views were spectacular.
We stopped at the highest point and got out of the train to stretch our legs and the local people were selling stuff for people who wanted to buy anything and a small church.
Water, tea and lunch with a glass of wine was included and any other alcoholic drinks from the bar or breakfast on embarkation were payable and you paid at the end of the trip before you disembarked.
You also check in your luggage at Cusco and it is stored in a luggage hold and you only can take a small bag (less than 8kg) onboard with you.
The open air car at the back of the train was really nice and gave excellent views.
I would thoroughly recommend this over a bus journey, even though the bus journey would be quicker.
Only downside was one of the toilets was pretty much unusable for the whole journey but otherwise, pretty much faultless.
