点评:We very nearby so come here often. Our most recent trip was with out-of-town guests. We only did the Wildlife Drive and viewed from the car. We didn't stop by the Visitor Center as the pond near there was not filled. There are restrooms in the building and outdoor toilets along the walking path just beyond the Visitor's Center. There is an observation deck and tower along the same path. There are also a couple picnic benches.
Along the drive there are several lagoons and ditches where you can find ducks and birds among the vegetation. This time of the year the plants are pretty high so you have to peek around them.
We saw several species. Drive slowly and look carefully to have the best chance of finding the birds. If you see folks stopped ask what they have seen. Most people there will be glad to tell you want they have spotted or help you identify what you are seeing.
The drive loops around and is one way. At the beginning there is a sign with the rules. Please follow them for the sake of the animals who are passing through. There are some spots to pull over briefly and a couple viewing areas. It is free to enter this refuge.
