Tired resort and course - Avoid at all costs

点评：Sadly, this resort and golf course are both very run down. Having played and stayed here a few years ago we were very disappointed with this visit. We had a 11am tee time and didn't even get to play the front 9 as there were a number of groups of very novice golfers who had no idea of golf etiquette and wanted to film each other shanking balls, hitting multiple balls and generally slowing down play so much that we left. We asked for a refund of our entire package (2 nights, 3 rounds of golf and breakfast) as we certainly did not get what was offered, however this was denied. The rooms were small and everything was falling off or falling apart. The bathrooms ceiling was mouldy, the balcony was dripping some sticky substance from the ceiling above. There was thick dust behind the beds and TV unit. The breakfast was ok, the lady in the cafeteria was lovely and could not have been more helpful. We ate one night at the Tavern which was ok, then the next night at the the cafe in the little shopping centre across the road - the food there was wonderful, great home made meals that were tasty and plentiful. We did play a second round, this time we had an early tee time to avoid the hackers and we got to play all 18 holes. All bunkers are GUR and the cart paths are almost unusable, however with preferred lies we did enjoy our round. Certainly NOT value for money and for serious golfers no longer a great place to play.
