点评：Cabin 2. One bedroom. A very nice cabin experience; clean park. Very well-done roomy cabin layout. One bedroom with a foldout cot stashed in the large closet and a foldout sofa bed in the living room. We chose the rustic cabin which means it has the original logs on the outside and has all knotty-pine walls and ceiling. Wood fireplace. The cabin was clean and well appointed. I was pleased to see the nice sharp cutlery (Cuisinart) as well as the plentiful flatware (we stayed in one park where only wo forks and two knives were provided), cooking utensils, towels/pot holders. Also, a well-stocked assortment of pots and pans with lids for each, as well as measuring cups, steel mixing bowls, baking pans, plenty of plates, cups, glassware as well as plastic drinking cups (we liked to use those outside.) A double Keurig, and nice appliances. Bathroom has an abundance of clean fluffy towels, modern shower, new pedestal sink, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. We appreciated the screened porch which is fortified with 1/4" wire cloth as we had a bit of a friendly squirrel or two who liked to climb the screening in the mornings and chirp at us most likely looking for handouts. The two sets of large double doors to the porch were appreciated as well as the double window view to the lake from the bedroom. Maintenance was prompt to come and fix the stuck fan in the bedroom. This being an original CCC cabin, our neighboring cabins are a nice distance. Each cabin has a private pier, charcoal grill and large picnic table on the patio. Queen size bed although the bed was 34" high and did not suit me being only 5'2" made it difficult to get into bed. That was immediately fixed the next day with a footstool. Plenty of pillows, sheets, blankets. Cabin 2 is the only cabin with that high of a bed. There is a marina and boat launch within the park. The visitors' center has a little self-serve cafe. There is a little beach near the marina. Other than the friendly squirrels, we were visited by geese, ducks, small deer and a plethora of songbirds. A tv with cable. Internet only at the visitors' center but cell service was good. About a 15 min drive to Hot Springs attractions. We were there in October, so I consider that off-season, but it is what we like. A great place to stay.
