Lovely place but not what we expected.
Gwatkin Cider Farm的点评
点评：Visited here with family on the back of seeing them featured on a recent channel 5 series. Had good expectations, but left feeling quite disappointed.
We were under the impression that there’d be a bit to see, the cider press, making process and a decent farm shop, only to find a cafe/restaurant with a waitress who seemed to hurry us through in favour of setting up for their lunch service even though there was over an hour till they served lunch, and the farm shop being nothing more than just a shop selling all their ciders. When we see the words farm shop, we think of a shop selling lots of local produce, not just their own offerings.
On the plus side though, we liked how the ciders were available to taste, and having tried the strawberry one, decided to purchase that and 2 bottles of their more fruity ones. It’s ice to find a British cider that isn’t too dry.
