Hope this year was a learning experience for the snow crew....

点评：Been going to the Valley since the 70's & I'm not gonna stop any time soon. However, I can say the snow making & management of said snow was the worst I can remember. I know the Vally faces east south-east & get much sun- I LOVE THAT! But...this year soooo much snow was made in place's that didnt serve the 'arteries' of the ski resort. It VERY frustrating to see skiable slopes but not able to access them because no snow at lift base/s. By comparison, I skied Holimont a few times and their snow management was real, real good. And yes, I know their slopes are almost all due north, ie., less light, but even taking into account the awful winter we had in WNY for snow, too much time, money and labor went into making snow in places that were not 'valuable' to serving the 4 or 5 most important runs at the Valley. Hope this year was a learning experience for the snow crew.
