The Eiteljorg Museum的点评
点评：I have been a member for years at the Eiteljorg Museum of the American Indian and Western Art for years. I grew up in Indy but moved away over 30 years ago. Each time I’m in Indy I visit the Eiteljorg. Gratefully I retired from Florida public schools and moved back to Indy and I’ll now a teacher in IPS.
I visited the museum this past Saturday. A traveling exhibit I presume, The “Voices of the Arctic: Contemporary Inuit Art” exhibit is stunning. “Radical Stitch is another traveling exhibit not to miss. It is absolutely powerful and unforgettable. Winter holidays are celebrated annually at “Jingle Rails” and each year more of Indy tracks and spaces are added. The Museum Store is world class as well. Be sure to take the time to view the 3 part painting/mural “October Suite” by Wilson Hurley.
