Times Square: It by itself makes the comer term for New York City: “The City That Never Sleeps”.
时代广场的点评
点评：I hadn’t been to Times Square in many, many years. This summer I took my 21 year old grandson on his first tour of American and, of course it had it had to include a visit to Times Square, New York City.
Not only did we visit Times Square, but we stayed at the only hotel directly ON Times Square, the New York Marriott Marquis. Being I am a Titanium Marriott Bonvoy member, the hotel up graded our room to “a view of Times Square” and on the 41st floor.
My grandson walked around Times Square on a daily basis and at all times of the day.
It is difficult to find the best words which effectively describe Times Square as it is so, so unique and only one of its kind.
The first word which may be best to describe it would be Luminous, as it is packed with dazzling and massive glowing billboards and neon lights!
Another great word would be Vibrant as it has endless energy, movement and activity day and night. It by itself makes the comer term for New York City: “The City That Never Sleeps”.
Crowded, as it is filled with not hundreds but thousands of visitors daily. They ever erected a large eating area in Times Square!
Finally, maybe Iconic as it is immediately recognized globally as the main symbol of New York City.
