Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp的点评
点评：a huge let down as i’ve heard people talking about this place for years and years. i’ve had a lot of readings beforehand so i was curious to know what this experience was about. i heard about marla and proceeded with booking. aside from the rules (no perfumes/scents, no one can join you) everything started normal. i thought it was a rip off for $90 at only 30 minutes but i figured it was worth it for the experience of the town. the town itself is like a small, rickety version of old key west.
the reading itself was disrespectful. midway through the vaguely generic reading she asked if i wanted to see a picture. i said yes because what else do you say to a stranger in their home. she opens up a folder with a before and after picture of herself and said she thought id benefit from a weight loss program. she proceeded to write the name of a chiropractic/weight loss clinic in orlando.
she fiddled around her home (this was DURING the reading btw) before returning with a card and her girls name on it. i didn’t say anything because i was so surprised it took that turn.
disrespect of my time and energy aside, you don’t know what people are going through. i didn’t ask for you to talk to me about a fat burning clinic. not that it matters but im already working on my health so this felt really left field. i asked about spirituality. and very conveniently she was unable to answer any of my questions as “spirit didn’t show her anything.”
in short: the reading wasn’t the full 30 minutes, she assumed things about my health and i felt like i was scammed.
i do think she’s gifted - but she only gave me about 15 minutes of spiritual know how before she wasted my time. everything is energy and i paid for hers. but im using mine to warn people against wasting their time. there are so many talented psychics who don’t live in the middle of nowhere and charge double the time they give you
