探索湾的点评
点评：This is a beautiful property, so many trees providing much needed shade. The staff were plentiful, very helpful and friendly. The included food was good, we ate at the Laquna Grill buffet for breakfast and lunch. The entrees were not particularly hot, but tasted okay. We also picked up snacks and drinks around the park. We were thrilled with the wonderful restrooms/ shower & changing facilities. They have convenient animal-safe sunscreen locations and towels throughout. There is plenty of signage to help you get around, which is a good thing because our phones with the app was locked away in our locker all day. The complimentary lockers are in a few locations, easy to use and big enough for our family of four. The wetsuits and snorkeling gear at no additional cost was handed out by people who were really good at guessing your size. The Wind-Away River is a long not so lazy river, make sure you stop at the monkey island/ otter detour. We couldn’t get the kids out of the Grand Reef snorkeling area. It is just full of sharks, rays, fish of every size and color.
We did the Swim with Dolphin experience. This was a first for us and we loved it. You go with a group of ten people to meet your dolphin, ours was Rosie. We had a group interaction and then individually got to get a kiss and take a ride with her. We were in the water with our dolphin for about 30 minutes. We didn’t buy the photo package but should have. We bought 5 photos, it would have been cheaper the other way.
We had a great time!
