Really nice garden, library. Wear walking shoes

点评：Really beautiful gardens, the highlights are the Japanese and Chinese Gardens, particularly the bonsai trees. The original Huntington house is a gallery, looking through the portraits are really nice. The library and dining room are really nice to look at. The rose garden smells amazing, the names for the different varieties are cool. The gift store is also really nice, you can actually shop without entering garden.
This trip maybe difficult for strollers or people with walkers, it's best to be in a mixed capability group. There are also alot of portions in the garden where drinks/food are not allowed, so I would plan around that. Parking is free, but admission is over $30, but for gardeners this is nice place. There is a military discounted ticket. Membership may pay for itself, as there seem to events that occur once garden closes and I would come back. There is a shuttle, but getting to stops are not clearly marked, you will need map.
