点评:I was not a visitor to Joslyn Castle, but I attempted to do an in-kind donation that had some reasonable value to it. I initiated contact via e-mail nearly two weeks ago, which was on a Wednesday. My e-mail didn't receive a response, so I tried calling. No one picked up, and my only option was to leave a message. Instead of doing that, I followed up on my e-mail on Friday. By Monday I still had no communication from them, so I called. I actually got someone on the phone. They claimed they didn't get my e-mails. I assume they were truthful, so I can forgive technology issues. I also called the person out on why no one answered the phone during posted business hours. She said it was because of the extreme cold. Well, that extreme cold took place before I tried to call, so that is not an acceptable excuse. The person I talked to said she would take a message and have the appropriate person get back to me. There was no language that they were out or that there would be a delay in getting back to me. We are now one week out from that message, and I have officially been blown off. I would encourage any potential visitor to think twice about visiting or donating to Joslyn Castle based on how they treat donors.
