Excessive fees charged when I requested a refund

点评：I was really disappointed with my experience. I purchased a $200 gift voucher but within 24 hours requested a refund as they had no availability for my family member while they were in the area. The company charged me a $35 “processing fee”, which is more than 17% of the value gone instantly.
When I questioned this fee, I was told it was all clearly explained online. However, when I checked, the website actually stated a $25 processing fee. When I raised this again, I was told the website was “outdated” although a further $10 was refunded. That kind of inconsistency feels misleading and unprofessional. The fee seems excessive and unfair, $25 to return my own money within 24 hours!!
I understand businesses have policies, but fees should be transparent, fair and reasonable. Unfortunately, this experience has put me off returning, and I would recommend others be cautious before purchasing gift vouchers here.
