Pegasus Cruises的点评
点评：The good news is that Hydra and Spetses are two incredibly beautiful islands, this boat takes you to them (and for only 40 Euro at that.)
That being said, I am not very happy we wasted a day of our vacation using Pegasus. For starters, the trip is essentially 6 hours of ferry experience and only 5 hours of time on the islands (less if you actually want to make it back to the boat on time and even less if you want a seat.) Racing to experience these islands in such a short time at each is really antithetical to the whole island vibe.
Speaking of the ferry - let’s dive into the ferry experience: there are no assigned seats or sections. Essentially it’s a free for all when you board (and you will board 3 times). Be prepared to kill or be killed for that choice table that has the one electrical outlet you can use to charge your phone. Also, the website claims WiFi and while there was a network, it’s not connected to the internet.
Food is quite limited in options, in spite of what the website tells you. Do yourself a favor and bring something nice from the outside. Otherwise you will be choosing between bagged chips, cookies and coffee.
On our trip we were sharing the lower deck with not one but two schools of teenagers on a group trip. To call the scene chaos would be generous. The staff was doing their best but was clearly numb to the whole experience.
Do yourself a favor and either get a driver to take you closer to hydra over highway and water taxi over the last bit or charter a private boat. Also these islands would be much better with an overnight so best to arrange to stay and experience them with out sprinting back so that you don’t have to sit on the anchor.
