点评:I echo all the positive comments below. It really was a gem of a place. The collection of tiles was something to behold – and there were many examples of everything else the owner collected. You can look it up before you go – there are several sites with information about it – to gauge if it’s for you. Some of the items weren’t to my taste, but it’s interesting to see what this lawyer (and his wife) liked to buy, much of it from England. I liked the Winter Garden (tiny, but covered and a nice place to sit and read, I think), the library and the little bits of silver and Mason’s china best. I paid 1€50 (concession price, but they were very polite and didn’t ask, just guessed!) but well worth the full fee of €3. I’ve given 4* because I felt there weren’t enough hand rails for oldies like me!
