点评：I had been to the Giant Clam sanctuary in 2015. Living here now, I thought I would take another look as it had been closed on my previous 5 trips over the last 9 years due to a property dispute, and I was told it was still not open. It is said it may open by Christmas 2025 again. However, the Aqua Marine Park next door is open! I managed to "drift" into the Giant Clam area, and it is even more amazing than 2015. I can't wait until it opens officially but 5 months in Filipino time could be anywhere up to 2 years or as short as a month. We will see. The road to the area has not changed and there are beachside facilities of tables and hits with fresh seafood available = about 300 pesos for grilled shrimp etc. or BYO food. Plenty of parrot fish and other fish types and fantastic coral here. Admission is 70p, 63 if you're over 60 years old. It is definitely worth a visit if you come to Camiguin. Other great snorkeling places in Camiguin, in order of MY preference are The Sunken Cemetery 250p + 100p for a guide - legally necessary; Montigue Island 750p for the boat and 50p each (swim out toward the white bouy 300m offshore for the coral with the bottom dropping away to 2kms deep) and White Island 450p for the boat and 50p each (one side of the island for the coral). Camiguin Island is a paradise for water lovers, with various springs - hot, cold and soda; and many waterfalls also dramatic views of the 7 volcanoes on an island of only 64km in circumference.
