The Sandbox Interactive Children's Museum的点评
点评：We had a few cool days on our week in Hilton Head and looked for alternate beach activities with our two year old grand daughter. We have been to several Children's Museum's in big cities but The Sandbox exceeded our expectations! Be aware that reservations on line are recommended so that they can control the number of children/adults in the museum at one time. It is a smaller museum, but really had so much to offer. There is even a play area reserved for young children under the age of 2. There are many creative play areas including legos, reading, lite bright, vet/animal care, grocery store, shrimp boat, plane simulation, camping, grilling and a nice outdoor area with a playhouse and other play equipment. Despite the smaller space, there is a very big variety of activities for the kids and no area ever felt crowded, We booked a time slot from 10 am - 1 pm which also included a story time/ craft which is a separate sign up but no an additional charge.
The toys, exhibits and areas were clean, updated and well organized. My two year old grand daughter had a blast and we spent the entire time we were allotted. The staff were friendly, engaging and we really enjoyed our time.
This is part of well designed park/entertainment area with a large outdoor playground, picnic area and event space. The museum was a quick drive from our hotel and the $12 entrance fee per person was well worth it. Highly recommended!!
