No comms but would still highly recommend

点评：Donated money for family of 5 to attend and then heard nothing more! Thought it was a scam but kept looking at reviews. Arrived in Cancum and tried to confirm our visit but still no comms. Thought i was wasting another £100 on a taxi and we arrived to closed gate. Thankfully our taxi driver just kept phoning till someone replied.
Once actually in, it was a fab experience!
Like everyone else says, this is a non-commercial place, run by people totally dedicated to their animals, running on a shoe string. We took cereal, nuts and fruit with us to donate. We got to sit with 5 female spider monkeys who happily chose to climb around us and even hug us. There was no rush, we sat with them for 2 hours, it was quite humbling.
Kids were a bit nervous but we took things slowly and it was awesome.
I now know there have been health issues affecting staff and hence the lack of comms so i hope things improve and i encourage you to support this little sanctuary that is a very special place.
