Lovely family time with some peace

点评：I am ashamed to say we live in Cornwall and have never been!
We were lucky enough to win a raffle at a local vets that had a money off voucher so we went along as a family with 2 kids age 9 and 12.
It was a really lovely afternoon and we can’t believe we waited so long.
I love wildlife but thought the kids might get bored with just seeing owls but there is so much to see and learn here .
The keepers are knowledgable and friendly and it’s feels like they want you there,
You can see this is a locally / family run place rather than a big business as it feels personal, you can get up close and really see and learn all about the animals. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded, peaceful and how a family afternoon should be.
Lovely tea and cake - all reasonably priced we had cakes and drinks for 4 and they are cafe prices not attraction prices and cake was homemade and beautiful.
Animals all were clean and cared for and we thought the flying displays were fantastic and the lady held my kids attention for the whole time - almost an impossible task 😂
Please visit these guys and support them, they need it to survive and offer so much .
