Spectacular views and great way to spend part of a day outside

点评：We had an outstanding time. Views are spectacular. Steps are a workout but not that bad. Just take another photo stop if you need a break but don’t want to admit to friends you need it!
We had originally planned to taxi out to the lighthouse and walk back. That is doable from a distance stand point but roads are a little narrow without shoulders so best to plan on taking taxi both ways. You will need a phone number since we didn’t see taxi’s waiting at the lighthouse.
It is a challenge to find the puffins but I did see two with binoculars. Someone else had found them and pointed me to where to look or it would have taken a while to search through the thousands of birds nesting in the area.
Be sure to go up into the lighthouse. Very interesting and don’t miss the picture of a wave breaking over the glass at the top of the lighthouse!! They said that happens fairly regularly and helps to drive how often they clean the glass around the rotating light itself.
