点评:If you want a different kind of museum with a sense of the ancient (not so ancient) of a Swedish old town then this is the place for you.
The whole area is a museum made out of houses and shops moved from the city center of Linköping. Here you find typical old stores, handcrafts, a B&B, a square, candy store, cafe, garden shop and a lot of small museums of various kinds like a bank and a grocery store.
For children there is a tehater once per day and for the adults/youngs there is actors that play roles on how it was in the old days. The acting is also at the same time a history lesson - I really recomend to attend.
We spent 5 hrs and we could spend 5 mor because the set-up when it comes to details is vast and really give you a good in sight of the old times. I especially like the house where the poor people lived before. You could relly feel how hard and tough it must have been. I liked that they had the "natural" props for the old times - a bottle of vodka on the table :)
If you like candy and ice cream you will not be dissapointed.
The best part of it all - it is no entrance fee which is a bit surpricing for me. I would gladly pay a fee which could safe guard the future and also be a foundation to make more investments to preserve and develop.
There is even a "folkets Park" in the area which can be seen as the old times Swedish Discotec :)
So if you have your way through Linköping then this is highly recomendable.
