Wonderful Christmas craft event for families and interesting exhibitions
Long Beach Island Historical Museum的点评
点评：I visited the Long Beach Island Historical Society during the Elf Workshop and that is a great family event. The museum was packed with people enjoying this holiday event.
I toured the back galleries which really tell an interesting story of Beach Haven and all of Long Beach Island from its founding as a Methodist Camp to a resort through the Victorian Age until modern times. There really was a transition from the resort town it once was to the residential area that it has become. The Victorian Room and all the maritime artifacts really show that the Fishing community is alive and well on the island.
The museum is very underrated and if you like interesting and engaging exhibitions on the history of an important shore community, this is the museum for you. Great for kids as well during Halloween and Christmas.
