点评:According to the information boards Busselton Jetty is the second longest pier in the world, and as I live not far from the longest one (Southend on Sea in the UK) I can now claim to have walked the two longest piers in the world.
Yes, you can pay $18 for the 45-minute trip on the quaint little red train, but if you are fit and without kids then the walk is bracing and scenic with plenty of information boards with interesting historical and more modern-day facts all the way along the Jetty. We did it on luckily a sunny day in the winter month of August and it was a very comfortable walk, but if you do it in the summer months then I would assume a hat and bottled water are must takes.
The only area of disappointment for us was that the Underwater observatory was shut for renovation when we visited, but I can fully understand why they would pick August to do that task.
