点评：The Franciscan Church is located at Franziskanerplatz in Old Town. Opening times are 7.30am to 6;.30pm daily. This is one of the oldest churches in Lucerne having been constructed between 1270-80, making it a rare surviving example of early Gothic architecture in Switzerland. The church is also part of the Swiss Jakobsweg (Camino de Santiago) pilgrimage for Catholics.
There are some very interesting things to see within the Franciscan Church including early nave wall paintings as well as replicas of Habsburg military banners captured during the Battle of Sempach (1386). The Baroque side altars nicely frame the impressive high altar. There are nice stained glass windows, elegantly carved choir stalls in Renaissance fashion and a elaborate wooden pulpit that is particularly impressive. The church has a nice blend of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance features that make for nice viewing for those sightseeing in the area and interested in seeing old churches.
