点评：This was our first visit to Raven's Glenn. We had dinner reservations for 7p on a Saturday night and came early so we could enjoy plenty of time to taste their wine offerings. Having done the same in both the Sonoma and Napa Valley wineries in California, we wondered how the wines would stack up. We're not wine snobs, and don't even try to pretend to describe wines like you read about in magazines. But in short, the wines we tasted, both whites and reds, were fantastic. Probably not up to Napa standards, but certainly worth every sip. But the bigger surprise was the dinner. A spacious dining room reminiscent of a ski lodge, nearly full of diners, so we were glad we had made reservations. The menu was surprisingly broad, and our dinners were absolutely first rate. The broiled walleye was fresh as were the salads. And the prices were quite reasonable, as were the prices of the bottles of wine we purchased to take home. For years we've wanted to take house guests to a good restaurant in our area, and sadly, we have few choices. After visiting Raven's Glenn, we will definitely be taking our friends in the future.
