Clean dog friendly beach

We visited with our 3 year old and our 11 month old, grandparents and a dog. The beach is dog friendly and very clean. We visited twice, both times from around 12.30/1pm until 4.30pm. The beach is huge, and the tide goes very far out. Lots of shells for kids to collect. There is plenty of space to pitch a tent and have blankets out. One of the days was quite windy, so it was nice to have the tent.
There are toilets with disabled and baby change. However, these are rather messy by the end of the day.
Ice cream was lovely but rather expensive.
The car park is very expensive at £8.50 for 4 hours and an extra £1 for each hour after that. There is also quite a long wait to get out if you stay as close to tea time as us. The first day (Saturday) it was not that busy when we arrived, but the following day (more windy) it was very busy with more surfers.
Overall an excellent beach to visit.
