Audley End Miniature Railway的点评
点评：I’ve always been told how wonderful Christmas at Audley End is…
I can assure you, it was not worth the ‘hype’ in my family’s opinion.
Totally not as much to do as I thought and was ridiculously difficult to access and navigate with a pushchair.
The weather was not on our side, it poured down all day/night and thus, resulting in parking in a total bog, walking through a bog and coming back with a tonne of hard work to do which involves getting the pushchair cleaned professionally now, all of our boots/shoes are wrecked, coats too, and it was unenjoyable.
3 Marshmallows on a stick were £5 which wasn’t reasonable, given we needed 3 for each child, £15 spend on 9 Marshmallows - quite excessive.
1 small hot chocolate, 2 coffees and 2 bags of popcorn were £15, just over.
Train ride to see Santa - the idea itself was great with the show, however, my 8 year old is almost a non believer and an incredibly young Santa didn’t quite persuade him, nor did Mrs Claus, who was also incredibly young.
So in all, a freezing cold night, getting soaked right through and catching colds, wasn’t worth almost £140…
I think it should have been called off given how strong winds were and that the rain was quite literally relentless and torrential. What a shame.
Really wasn’t what I had in mind when I thought we would make some festive memories. Really sad, given the cost.
I think there is room for improvement here, particularly with accessibility and not these giant wood chip things on the floor which just clump together to make it more like quick sand.
We bought umbrellas and rain cover for pram, which actually got wrecked with the mud splashing back.

总而言之，在一个寒冷的夜晚，浑身湿透，还感冒了，花了将近140英镑，实在不值……
考虑到当时风很大，雨又大又猛，我觉得应该取消这次活动。真是太可惜了。
这和我想象中的节日回忆完全不一样。考虑到花费，真是令人失望。
我觉得这里还有很多需要改进的地方，特别是无障碍设施，还有地板上那些巨大的木屑，它们粘在一起就像流沙一样。
我们买了雨伞和婴儿车雨罩，结果都被溅回来的泥水弄脏了。
