点评:I have been to many birds of prey centres throughout the Uk and this is probably the smallest but that does not stop it being a hidden gem. Located in the Kielder forest in Northumberland miles from large towns. Operated by two dedicated experts in all things relating to birds of prey from birth to death. The commentary during the display was full of interesting and amazing facts, humour also involved. The display was the best I have witnessed. The birds actually flew past and through the seated visitors. We all had the opportunity to hold birds on a glove, some had birds landing on their heads. The close proximity to these wonderful creatures was a truly moving experience. Five birds took place in the display I attended. There are many birds that can be seen in their living areas. Several times I could feel the air disturbed by close flying birds near my head during the display. Well worth s visit.
