点评：We visited Overton Park Shell twice during our trip, and we’re really glad we made the effort to go back. On our first visit there was a yoga class taking place, so we didn’t want to disturb, but it was still nice to see the space being used by the community.
When we returned later, we were able to explore properly. Knowing that Elvis performed his first paid concert here made the visit feel even more special. Standing in the same spot where his early career began added a fun bit of music history to the experience.
The Shell itself is charming, and the surrounding park has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. My daughter loved playing in the park — plenty of space to run around and enjoy the outdoors.
It’s a peaceful, family‑friendly place with a great sense of history. Definitely worth a stop, especially if you’re an Elvis fan visiting Memphis.
