点评:This review is for a recent experience at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. We were there to see a concert. Having been to many venues for concerts, I will rate this experience at Prudential as among the worst. We queued in line for nearly TWO HOURS just to walk in the door. There were no visible staff outside maintaining the queues. It was very confusing, and at one point people who had just arrived wound up at the front part of the queue while those of us who had been standing for over an hour and a half were still farther behind. We heard stories from others of having missed parts of their previous concerts due to not getting into the building on time. It was no better getting out of the building after the show - just a free for all, mass of people clogging up the halls. I have seen shows at MetLife and other larger arenas with far more capacity that get people in and out with far greater efficiency. The concert itself was fantastic, but this experience certainly put a damper on it. No time to hit the restroom, merch stands or get food as we barely made it to our seats in time. There were a lot of people behind us still in the queue who no doubt missed part of the show last night. Open the doors sooner, hire more people to manage the queues, get patrons in and out in a timely and organized manner. I'll definitely skip this venue in the future - did not impress at all.
