点评:First visit on an autumn Saturday. Dry windy day so blowing dust was an issue, but that was minor.
Lots of activity and something for everyone. Goats, small horses and donkeys come to the fences to meet you (they hope you have a handful of farm-approved and farm-dispensed animal feed to offer). Pumpkins everywhere. They property is decorated with many curated signs and decisions relating to American farming history and country life, much of it from "yesteryear." Very nice.
Farm store is extensive and the interior decorations are a sight to behold. You can buy many, any things from fresh produce to fudge to pies to pastries to sauces, jams, jellies, pastas, drinks and various nostalgic items.
There is a window and a lofted patio for enjoying apple cider varieties. You can get homemade ice cream and fresh baked donuts. There's an area inside a grove of huge trees with tables, chairs and lights strung overhead.
You can order a pizza from the pizza kiosk (the line was long), or get something to eat in the brew barn which is wood paneled and set up to seat a lot of people. A local guitarist/singer was performing on an outdoor stage.
Hay ride wagons were full and pulling people through the orchards. We walked through the apple orchard and pumpkin field. The hay ride drivers were all friendly and waved.
Parking lot is not paved, just FYI.
