A Living Work of Art — We Cannot Wait to Return

点评：Casa Cuseni is unlike any place we have ever stayed. This extraordinary historic villa — a UNESCO-listed national monument — is not simply a hotel; it is a living work of art.
The location is perfect — right in the heart of Taormina yet tucked away from the tourist bustle, with everything within easy walking distance. And the views from the property are, in our opinion, the finest in all of Taormina — the sweep of the Ionian Sea, the bay, and Mount Etna is simply breathtaking and something we will never forget.
Breakfast is a genuine highlight — beautifully presented, generous, and enjoyed every morning with that incomparable panorama.
What makes Casa Cuseni truly exceptional, however, is the warmth and grace of the people who bring it to life. Proprietors Mimma and Francesco welcome guests with genuine warmth and a deep pride in the villa's extraordinary heritage. The wonderful Maria took us on a personal tour of the museum, and we were completely amazed by the history — the famous artists, writers and intellectuals who stayed within these very walls, from Greta Garbo and Roald Dahl to Bertrand Russell and Pablo Picasso. It is one thing to read about it; it is another to stand in those rooms and feel it. The rest of the staff — Maddalena, Alessandra, and Catena — were attentive, kind, and effortlessly professional throughout our stay.
If you are looking for a hotel room, look elsewhere. If you are looking for an experience you will carry with you for the rest of your life, look no further than Casa Cuseni.
